15th Place. ISAF Sailing World Cup Miami – KABOURIDIS – PAPADOPOULOS

It has been a great week here in Miami. Our preparation went very well, despite using borrowed gear (boat and mast). 15th position at the Miami OCR leaves us with mixed feelings, as we know we could have done better. Unfortunately, a big mistake at the 2nd upwind leg of the last race threw us from 10th to 30th position, leaving us out of the top 10 teams and the medal race.
We would like to thank Mr. Andreadis for his hospitality and the American Team members David Hughes, Jordan Factor, Matthew Wefer, Anne Haeger and Briana Provancha for their help. Special thanks to our sponsors, too. We are now looking forward to Athens Eurolymp Week, back home in Greece.
